Charvel 625C :: new bridge. The original bridge was failing and warped due to improper finish removal on the top’s glue joint. Large areas of finish left under the bridge are always asking for trouble. I’m going slightly larger on the new bridge to increase the surface area of the joint. The original bridge is quite small and further weakened by a 3/16” wide saddle and a thick pickup that needs to be routed fairly deep to allow the saddle enough bridge to leverage against.
