Classical guitar back repair :: gluing up loose back braces (2 of 5) before gluing the severe crack that runs the length of the body. The trick with this one is to add just enough moisture to close the crack, yet not too much as to cause the joint to overlap or bind.
Super, super cool :: this is what I believe to be a 1954 Fender Custom Steel Triple-Eight string steel guitar (no badges / markings other than a serial number on the jack).
The first neck is missing the bridge / horseshoe-style “trapezoid” pickup assembly. I expect sourcing a replacement to be extremely tough and fabricating a new one just as difficult. More research and head scratching to come …

Finally received the replacement labels to begin repairing this nasty back crack on a 2006 Paul Fischer classical. The crack runs right through the builder’s two labels. Beautiful Brazilian set! Beautiful guitar!
