Neck & body are now one :: Chubbuck Mousa 003

An exciting milestone in guitar building is when the neck is glued up to the body.  This glue-up is from a few weeks ago and soon Mousa 003 will be going into the spray booth.  I can not wait to get the first coats of finish on this guitar.  Check out the videos below for the neck glue-up.

New frets :: 2010 Chubbuck Mousa 001 [6.2 lbs]

Andy Mowatt's 2010 Chubbuck Mousa 001 was in recently for a refret.  Super cool to have the original in the shop while I'm getting the current Mousa 003 build ready for finish.

I do not carve using templates so I was shocked to find the fit of Mousa 001's bridge fit the top of Mousa 003 absolutely perfect.  Like dead on perfect with no gaps.  Really crazy considering this bridge is from six years ago.

Worn out frets :: 2010 Chubbuck Mousa 001

Six years of heavy daily playing has this guy back in the shop for new frets.  I love how well this guitar has held up over the years, especially with how heavily Andy Mowatt gigs.  Below you can see it's little brother Mousa 003 on the bench just before the neck was glued to the body.

Videos from the daily vlog of pulling the old frets and then leveling, crowning and fret end dressing of the new ones.
