LR Baggs Transplant :: 2010 Yamaha FG-336SBII [5.3 lbs]

A player in the area dropped by with a used pickup in one hand, this guitar in the other. The LR Baggs Anthem he brought with him had been previously installed in another guitar and needed to be refurbished a bit. The adhesive had to be cleaned from the modules and prepped to remount with new adhesive (for the sound hole control module & internal microphone). The undersaddle pickup took a bit of work to balance as the pliable element had conformed to another saddle slot. Gig ready.

Binding dings :: Lowden 025C [4.8 lbs]

This Lowden took a wild ride across a cement floor when it was yanked from a stand by it's plugged-in cable.  The body took a few rough hits and cracked the binding on one edge and dinged the finish on others.  The cracked binding was glued and all the dings were filled and blended in with the surrounding finish.  I was amazed this guitar somehow dodged more serious structural issues like cracks, holes, etc.

Custom reclaimed pine Tele Esquire [7.3 lbs] :: new neck & assembly

This body is made from an old pine board from a barn with a bunch of nails, imperfections and all.  It arrived at the shop in parts with a new Mighty Mite neck.  The body neck screw holes didn't line up with the neck plate, so I needed to plug three of the four holes and re-drill them.  After the body mounting holes were corrected, the the new neck's heel had it's mounting holes drilled.  The bridge was located and mounted and wired up with a new Lollar Special T bridge pickup.  I love the vibe of this reclaimed body.
