2001 Gibson SG :: broken strap button screws
This SG has been in the shop a few times before for a broken control cavity and to correct a failing headstock repair. Now it is in for a broken strap button screw. Actually, two broken screws as one was broken before. I'll need to make a couple different size screw extractors to get these out.

2003 Gibson Les Paul Double Cut Faded [7.0 lbs] :: headstock break
This was a classic Gibson headstock break repair. Photos of the initial break here and photos of the clamping setup here.
Below is the repaired headstock without any finish touchups. Note that this break happened one year ago and was just repaired last week. I'm very happy with how well the break closed.
1978 Fender Tele Thinline [7.6 lbs] :: neck realignment.
This Tele has the classic 70's 3-bolt neck joint and the neck was slightly biased to the treble side (the high e string was too close to the edge of the fingerboard). The bolts were loosened and the neck shifted towards the bass side to correct this. Tele Thinlines originally come with the wide range humbuckers but this one was modded years ago with Seymour Duncan SH-3 Stag Mag's with push-pull coil taps.
1987 Fender Strat Plus [7.9 lbs] :: vibrato setup
The floating bridge on this late 80's Strat was set up along with cleaning of the pots. The surgical tubing that holds the Lace Sensor pickups at the correct height were compressed and needed to be replaced as well.

Finish work :: Martin-style nitro sunbursts
I occasionally do finish / setup work to help other builders out. These two Brazilian Martin-style builds were prepped for finish, then sprayed and buffed out in nitrocellulose lacquer.
