Some pots can not be saved by cleaning. Time to put down the can of Deoxit replace them.
Gluing a loose x-brace end on this Alvarez D cutaway.
This Alvarez had a Planet Waves soundhole plug installed to help block feedback when plugged in. Upon removing the plug I found that there was a broken piece of the soundhole edge holding on by a thread. A little hot hide glue, a piece of plexiglass and a modified brace jack were used in the repair.
The frets were leveled and dressed in the neck jig. Also the disconnected pickup jack was removed and replaced with StewMac's "NoJak" endpin.
I really dig the comfort of this body shape and size.
