1972 Guild D35 [4.5 lbs] :: setup

I'm a huge fan of vintage Guilds so it's always exciting to have one in the shop.  This mahogany dreadnought is in great shape for being 43 years old.  The setup included adjusting the truss rod, saddle and nut.  The frets are extremely low and uncrowned, but it plays surprisingly well.

1972 Martin D-35 :: Highlander pickup install. The bridge saddle slot floor needs to be routed with a 1/16” ball end mill to fit the Highlander iP-1 coaxial undersaddle pickup.  The tail block is also thread-tapped for the end jack preamp.
